As Coordinator of Student Success, Emily (she/her) is able to support students both during their transition to Berea College and throughout their time here. Emily has worked in higher education for nearly ten years in multiple roles and is passionate about helping students thrive holistically, as she knows they bring all of who they are with them when they arrive. Emily believes that the liberal arts provide an integral space for students to experience the world and find their place within it. Emily is passionate about confronting institutional racism and building inclusive spaces where all people can thrive.

Originally from the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, Emily lives in Berea with her partner and daughter. At any given time, you can find her watching college softball, talking with her neighbors in the driveway, or trying to keep up with a very smart, very active kiddo.
