Geographic Information System
Our Geographic Information System (GIS) department serves as a central resource for information related to our campus land use, buildings, and infrastructure. We strive to provide accurate spatial information to serve campus operations and facilities management, as well as the greater campus community.
A geographic information system (GIS) is a system designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present all types of geographical data. This data can encompass almost anything as long as it has some sort of spatial component.
