Jodi Whitaker has spent the majority of the last 20 years working in politics, serving as press secretary for a Kentucky Governor and communications director for the Kentucky Senate Majority and a U.S. Congressman. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Kentucky and has worked in newspapers, radio and television.

As media relations manager for Berea College, Jodi coordinates media for the entire campus, which includes handling all media inquiries, pitching news stories and coordinating press releases.

In her spare time, Jodi rescues basset hounds and enjoys concerts and comedy shows.
