Mama's Boy : or, a Praxis in Construction

New York, 1974. Old, crumbling tenement buildings are being torn down for the construction of newer, flashier housing, leaving the low-income population out of a home. College student and self-made woman Rita has much to say about these greedy landlords; but unbeknownst to her, it is her own boyfriend, neighborhood bar owner Joe, working behind the scenes to flush the impoverished population out of their community. Meanwhile, a young janitor privy to Joe’s dealings is working to expose something much greater than any of the neighborhood’s residents could have imagined.
